Create your own Study Abroad experience!
Do you wish to study in a country where WMU does not offer a study abroad program? Or, have you found a particular program you are interested in attending that's not included in our catalog?WMU Study Abroad can assist you with Non-WMU programs as well. If you are considering a program that is not listed on the WMU Study Abroad program list, please complete the Non-WMU Program Application.
During the application process for Non-WMU programs, you will be asked to provide basic information about the program you would like to attend. Your application will be reviewed by study abroad specialists for approval.
Non-WMU program approval criteria:
- Accreditation - a recognized university must issue an official transcript for your course work.
- Safety - will you be safe on this program?
- Department approval - will your academic department accept the coursework toward your degree?
